Married at 13, mother at only 15, Rokeya had to leave her husband at 17, pregnant with her second daughter. From there her new life began, she completed her higher education, joined a school as a teacher and devoted the rest her life to the welfare of her community, especially for the women like her.

She is a dreamer, for every dream she lives, for every dream she dies. Still today at the age of 60, she walks through communities, villages, bearing the torch with love and affection. But deep inside, while running a big organisation of around 1200 direct employee and 30,000 beneficiary families, she is a loner, in search of a right soul to carry the torch forward.
